Dr. Randall (Randy) Ogata is a second-generation orthodontist from Seattle. He received his education from some of the top colleges across America: University of Washington, University of Nebraska and University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Ogata has lectured internationally and nationally, and taught orthodontics at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute (LVI). His speaking talents have led him to be selected by the American Dental Association (ADA) as one of their SUCCESS speakers.
Dr. Ogata has held and still holds several positions in organized dentistry and the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). He has fought to allow patients to have the right to choose their dentist and treatments, free from third-party interferences. Most recently, he was selected to the AAO Council on Ethics and Judicial Concerns and as the Speaker of the House of Delegates for Washington.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ogata co-chaired the Hidden Winners program for the Rotary. Additionally, he was a member of the YMCA Camping Services Board and had coordinated the videotaping for Mercer Island High School’s football and basketball teams. His personal interests include fly fishing, model trains and softball.
